Increased Capacity for Recycling and Waste Recovery

Valorlis has carried out two projects funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, through the PRR:

SELECTIVE COLLECTION – CONTAINERISATION

1) The project strengthens selective collection through the installation of new equipment, increasing the network’s capacity and improving the efficiency of the collection routes. This investment helps to increase the quantities of waste sent for recycling, improve the service provided to the public and support the transition to a more circular economy.

PRE-TREATMENT OF LEACHATE

2) The project involves the construction of a new Leachate Treatment Plant and the enhancement of wastewater regulation capacity, enabling compliance with legal discharge requirements, improving environmental performance and reducing the impact of operations on the water cycle. The intervention increases treatment capacity, ensures greater operational efficiency and contributes to more sustainable urban waste management.
