Valorlis will install 150 new large-capacity containers (5 m³) by the end of the year in densely populated areas with a higher concentration of food, commerce, and service establishments.

This investment, of more than R$ 222,000, was financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and aims to reinforce the quality of the service provided, adapt the infrastructure to the volumes of waste generated in the areas of greatest production, and contribute to a greater recovery of recyclable materials, encouraging the correct separation of waste at the source.

“The installation of large-capacity recycling points, within the scope of Valorlis' investment plan, allows us to respond more effectively to the needs of locations with higher waste production, reinforcing the installed capacity and the quality of the service. This investment demonstrates Valorlis' commitment to proximity to the populations and its partner municipalities and to the creation of solutions that facilitate everyone's participation in recycling, an essential element for achieving better environmental results in the region,” emphasized Marta Guerreiro, Administrator of Valorlis.

With this initiative, Valorlis reinforces its focus on more efficient waste management that is closer to the local area, providing solutions adapted to the needs of citizens and businesses, and encouraging everyone to use the equipment properly and separate their waste correctly – essential participation for increasing recycling and improving the environmental performance of the region.
