Valorlis is fully committed to restoring normal selective collection circuits at recycling points, seeking to ensure, as quickly as possible, their availability to populations affected by the severe weather caused by Storm Kristin.
With people, property and the operational teams that are on the ground every day as its top priority, Valorlis has temporarily suspended all non-essential activities, focusing its efforts exclusively on restoring the circuits and checking the safety conditions associated with the selective collection of recycling bins: paper/cardboard, glass, and plastic and metal packaging.
At this particularly demanding time, Valorlis has 32 operational teams working daily between 3 a.m. and midnight, in a continuous and tireless effort to restore normal recycling bin service in the most affected areas. In this context, we would like to inform you that around 95% of recycling bins have been affected by this extreme weather event.
Exceptionally, this reinforced operational regime will remain in place until all safety and operational conditions are met. Barring unforeseen circumstances, Valorlis expects the selective collection service to be back to normal at the beginning of the week of 9 February.
The collection service from shops and services is temporarily suspended and is expected to resume during the second week of February.
Valorlis would like to reiterate its gratitude to all its employees for their commitment, dedication and spirit of mission demonstrated at a particularly difficult time, which affects the entire community. It also thanks the residents for their understanding and cooperation, reaffirming its commitment to the continuity of public service, the protection of the population and the rapid restoration of normality.
