What is Valorlis and where does it operate?

Valorlis, S.A. is responsible for the concession of the Multimunicipal System for Sorting, Selective Collection, Recovery and Treatment of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) from the municipalities that are part of the System (Leiria, Marinha Grande, Pombal, Porto de Mós, Batalha and Ourém).

How does Valorlis operate?

As part of the system's management, waste from unsorted collection in six municipalities is managed, treated and recovered by Valorlis S.A. Waste from selective collection carried out by Valorlis S.A. in six municipalities is managed, sorted and sent for recycling.

What is the scope of Valorlis' activities?

The system currently serves a population of around 302,000 inhabitants and an area of 2,157 km2
The Valorlis, S.A. Management System is certified in accordance with the requirements of the following reference standards: NP EN ISO 9001:2015, NP EN ISO 14001:2015 and NP EN ISO 45001:2019.
